Take charge of your health by making plans to visit one of the four Douglas County venues hosting the 9Health Fair this year. Getting screened is easier than ever, as fasting for the blood draw is optional again this year.
Douglas County Location Sites –
Eastridge Recreation Center: Saturday, April 9, from 7 a.m. to noon
Sky Ridge Medical Center: Saturday, April 16, from 7 a.m. to noon
Parker Adventist Hospital: Sunday, April 17, from 7 a.m. to noon
Castle Rock Adventist Health Campus: Friday, April 23, from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
9Health Fair has launched a new resource this year called 9Health Ready. It’s a five-pillar program focused on overall wellness. The pillars are: prevention, sleep, nutrition, exercise and mental health. Learn about it at the health fairs or online at www.9healthready.org.
All sites will offer a blood chemistry draw for $35, which provides a baseline for 28 levels including cholesterol, glucose, thyroid, kidney, and heart disease. Many additional screenings are available at each site.
