6th Annual Tri the Rock
Kids … get ready to swim, bike and run your way to the finish line during Tri the Rock at Butterfield Crossing Park and Pool in Castle Rock on Sunday, May 22. This kids’ mini marathon event helps promote wellness and supports physical education programs at participating schools.
Children ages 5 to 14 are encouraged to come out and give it a try! The school with the most participants will receive a party at the Castle Rock Recreation center and have the honor of displaying the Tri the Rock trophy at their school until the race in 2012. All participants will receive a T-shirt, goodie bag and lunch, following the race.
Registration is now open. The registration fee is $35 prior to May 16 and $45 from May 16 through May 20. A valid USA triathlon membership is required and costs an additional $5 for those who are not already members. No race day registrations will be accepted.
