2011 Rock Canyon Jaguars Track Team

In its first year of participating in the highly-competitive 5A state division, Rock Canyon High School’s Track Team stunned their coaches by setting 12 new school track records and having 10 athletes qualify for state track finals.
Taylor Sheridan placed sixth for shot put; Ali Will placed twelfth for the 3200 meter race; Ivy Deibel placed twelfth for the 100 meter hurdles; Girls 4 x 800 meter relay team members Cassandra Hardy, Hailey Olcott, Zoe Tartz, and Ali Will placed fifteenth; and Boys 4 x 800 meter relay team members Jake Dysart, Kyle Hawkins, Torin McCue, and Steven Theodore placed thirteenth at the state track finals.
